Welcome to Flow Psychology, my name is Gary Ross, I am a coaching psychologist serving Dublin, and the surrounding communities. I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life.

I am passionate about translating cutting-edge research from positive psychology and neuroscience, into practical strategies for a growth mind set, health, purpose, happiness and resilience.

My style is supportive, yet active and together we will work toward defining and achieving your goals.

My Beliefs and Coaching Style

 As a coaching psychologist my work looks through the lens of Positive Psychology. My interventions tend to be more influenced by fostering practical solution focused stratagies not to just fix what’s wrong, but also building on what’s strong. Benefiting individuals, families, and groups all over Ireland.  I place emphasis on building strengths, resilience and happiness and in the importance of our beliefs and reactions in determining how we act and why we choose certain paths in life. Even from your first days of life, you are developing a template for how to think and feel about yourself, your relationships, and the world in general. These beliefs can either be very creative or very destructive. It is important to realise It’s your reaction to adversity, not adversity itself that determines how your life’s story will develop.

I believe the idea that “if you’re seeking assistance, you must be broken” is changing, I believe that our culture is shifting, with more people proactively seeking a better way to live, with more and more people seeking someone who can advise them to improve their lives and thrive.

I provide an informed and confidential environment during your initial talk (and throughout the sessions). During your first session, we will review your reason(s) for initiating your want to change and what you would like to change. From there, we will identify your goals and work towards achieving them over time.  Each session is 50 minutes in length and typically scheduled once per week. The overall duration of your visits varies for each individual depending on his or her needs.
